Tanya Hutchinson-Merritt is the Founder and CEO of See Me Shine Youth Program, INC. Born and raised in Long Branch, NJ, her passion of being a youth advocate for education has always driven her. Residing in Columbus, OH for nearly 30 years now, she has trained extensively in mentorship within her current position as a formal/informal advisor to colleagues and peers. In 2012, Tanya graduated from Ohio Dominican University with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and, in that same year, was presented with the Federal Employee “Woman of the Year Award” for her outstanding community contributions and professional achievements. Since her attainments, her vigorous vision of educating young people has catalyzed her drive to help transform students’ lives.
